About Steel Beam Theatre |
|
Steel Beam Theatre is dedicated to bringing high-quality theatrical training, entertainment and arts awareness to the Fox Valley. In addition to mainstage and children's stage productions, we offer a diverse range of workshops and open our space to other local theatrical companies and performing artists.
The Theatre is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization featuring an intimate, 79-seat, handicapped-accessible theatre in the heart of historic St Charles.
Steel Beam was voted "Best of the Fox" in 2004 and 2005 for live theatre by readers of the Kane County Chronicle, and received The Northwest Herald's Readers Choice Award.

This stunning contemporary musical chronicles five years in the lives of Jamie and Cathy, portrayed and superbly sung by Jonathan Wagner and Sharriese Hamilton under the musical direction of Jeremy Ramey, who recently closed in "Altar Boyz" in downtown Chicago.
The Director is R. Aaron Thomann, marking his 14th show as director here at Steel Beam with "one of my all-time favorite shows."
